Project Toulouse

Toulouse Leiden is a charming French traditional restaurant that brings the rich culinary heritage of France to life. With a focus on classic dishes and an inviting ambiance, the restaurant aims to create a memorable dining experience for all guests.

The identity draws on the women Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec painted and printed in Montmartre, around the Moulin Rouge. He portrayed them honestly and with dignity, and the logo shares that attitude: a loose, gestural line drawing of a woman who is confident, sensual and in control of her own image. Flat colour and expressive typography echo his iconic posters, translated into a contemporary graphic language.
